A4 Colour MFP Market Share (20-29ppm)
The 2 pie charts below show the market share (by brand) in the 20-29ppm category for both West and East Europe
to give you an idea of who the major players are in this market.
At this stage, it is important to remind ourselves of the routes to market that exist for A4 products across Europe.
Unlike, A3 MFPs which are generally service-orientated and sold primarily through Direct & Dealer channels, the
majority of the A4 MFP & Printer sales are outside of these channels because most products (especially those below
30ppm) do not require much (if any) service and are primarily CRU-based products.
Although Direct & Dealer channels still sell a large portion of A4 products for some manufacturers (e.g. Xerox), the
likes of Samsung, HP, Lexmark, Brother etc... are also heavily reliant on sales through the Distribution & Retail
channels. These might include catalogue distributors but in the main are IT Distributors selling into IT & Corporate
Resellers (including Value Added Resellers (VAR) & Systems Integrators (SI)). In addition, these manufacturers also
sell through the likes of Staples & Amazon (online) to help increase their routes to market and boost their sales into
small-to-medium sized businesses (SMBs).
N.B. It is also important to rememeber that the market we are focusing on within this sales guide is Business Laser
focused. None of the data within this sales guide incorporates InkJet products sold into the SOHO (Small Office,
Home Office) market.
