1.1 Foreword to the operating instructions
These operating instructions are intended to familiarise you with the machine and use it for its desig-
nated purpose.
The operating instructions contain important information on how to operate the machine safely, cor-
rectly and cost-effectively. Observing this information helps to avoid dangers, repair costs and down-
times and increase the reliability and service life of the machine.
The operating instructions must be permanently available at the place of use of the machine.
The operating instructions are to be read and observed by all persons entrusted with work on the
machine, e.g.
- transport, assembly, commissioning
- operation, including troubleshooting in the work process and
- upkeep (maintenance, repair).
In addition to the operating instructions and the statutory regulations on accident prevention valid in
the country of use and at the place of use, the recognised technical rules for safe working practices
are to be observed.
1.2 Warnings and symbols in the operating instructions
The following symbols and signs are used in the operating instructions and must always be
observed:
