4. Use the green button to turn on or off the display to the built-in screen (called

Panel in this window) and the external monitor (called Monitor in this window).

5. Click on Apply and verify that the display is the way you want it.

6. If you want to adjust the appearance of an external monitor, click on the

Monitor button and make changes to the Screen Position, Size, and

Synchronization.

7. Click on Apply and verify that the display is the way you want it, then click on

OK. You can name the current scheme and assign a hotkey to later quickly

change the display settings to this scheme.

8. Click on OK to exit the Properties dialog box.
