CHAPTER 2

Basic Operations

This chapter describes some of the basic operations of your computer such as using

the keyboard, adjusting the display, and so on.

Powering the Computer

You can operate your computer by using the AC adapter to connect to a suitable

power outlet. You can also power the computer by the standard or an optional

secondary Lithium-Ion battery pack.

Whenever you use the AC adapter to power the computer, the battery automatically

begins recharging. Recharging continues whether the computer is turned on or off.

Refer to Chapter 3 Battery and Power Management for a full description of battery

charging and related information.
