Sharp is pleased to announce the new MX-6240N and
MX-7040N Flagship high-speed color document
systems. These new models raise the bar on image
quality, color consistency and productivity.
Packed with standard features such as true Adobe
®
PostScript
®
3™/PCL6
®
printing systems, 150-sheet
DSPF, 10.1 High-Resolution Color Touch Screen
Display, advanced Data Security Features and high
speeds of up to 70ppm. These consistent performers provide the confidence needed to keep pace
with On-Demand Color requirements. Built like a workhorse with the simplicity of touch-screen
menu navigation and unparalleled multi-tasking capabilities, this high-speed color line-up can help
businesses elevate their productivity to new levels.
Innovative features and advanced capabilities to meet the
needs of demanding environments
A flexible modular design provides a wide variety of
configurations from basic high-speed copying and printing to
professional folding and booklet making capabilities. When
equipped with Sharp’s new MX-LC13 Large Capacity Tray
with air feed technology, the MX-6240/7040N offers
unprecedented media flexibility. Now, it is easier than ever
before to run a variety of papers, such as gloss, textured,
cardstock up to 110lb cover and more!
Advanced output options add the finishing touches
The MX-6240N/7040N models offer a wide range of high-performance finishing
options that can transform your customer’s work into professional looking
documents. Helping your customers bring more work in-house, the professional
multi-folding unit makes short work of complex fold jobs such as z-fold, tri-fold, bi-
fold and double-fold. If the customer wants booklet making, they have their choice
of two saddle stitch finishers. For lighter duty needs, there is the MX-FN20 with 50-
sheet stapling capacity and booklet capabilities of up to 60 pages. For more robust
capabilities, the MX-FN22 100-sheet multi-position stapler supports up to 80-
page booklets and accommodates more demanding environments. Additionally,
the MX-TM10 trimming unit can be added to the MX-FN22 for outstanding looking
booklets with a clean finished edge.
