Caution: 1. Only after installed the option part of auto edge-detect, the items of edge-detect

function and black mark detect function will be printed out.

2. If the printer doesn’t install Ethernet, the relative Ethernet information, such as MAC, IP

and so on, will not be printed out in the self-testing and setting report.

4.6.2 Enter the Setup Menu System and Change the Settings

If need to use different fonts or printing formats, you can use the setup menu system to change the

settings.

The operating steps of changing the menu system

1. Turn on the printer.

2. Load the paper to the printing home position (make sure the paper is enough) then switch the

printer ONLINE.

3. Keep pressing the COPY/LOAD/EJECT key for 3 seconds.

The PAPER OUT LED and ONLINE LED blink 2 times simultaneously, it means the printer enters

setup menu system mode.

This starts the Setup Menu System and prints the instructions for using it. The current setting is

underlined.

The print head points to the current selection in the menu.

4. Make a selection from the menu with the keys on the control panel:

Press To

LOAD/EJECT

Move the print head to the next menu selection. Repeat this until you

get the selection that you want.

LF/FF

Save the setting that is currently indicated by the print head position,

and go to the next menu. Note: Newly setting will be shown in fill

character.

ONLINE

Move to the upper menu (Holding on pressing ONLINE key will back to

main menu directly)

SPEED Save the settings and exit the menu setting system

5. When you have made all of your settings (remember that you don’t have to go all the way through the

menu system), holding on press SPEED key, newly settings will be stored and exit the menu setting

mode. If you do not want to store the settings, just switch off the printer directly.

6. Switch the printer off and then turn on again. New settings of the menu will be stored.

SETUP MENU SYSTEM

Use the COPY/LOAD/EJECT key to point the print head to the desired setting.

Use the LF/FF key to confirm the current setting

Use the ONLINE key to go back the previous menu (Press and hold the ONLINE key to go

back the main menu).

Press and hold the COPY key to save settings and exit.

Current settings are

New settings will be FILLED.
