Blank paper placed in the optional inserter can be inserted into the pages you desire (including the front
and back cover).
- When placing the paper for the initial (default) setting (LD and plain paper for the initial setting of the
copier at the time of installation), the procedures from step 5 to 8 are not necessary.
- When you want to insert papers with making copies, place the paper in the drawer or on the bypass guide
and select the cover sheet mode (
Page 4-18) or the sheet insertion mode ( Page 4-20) in the edit screen.

Press the SIZE key.
- For LD paper, skip step 5 and step 6 because these
procedures are not necessary.
Setting the Inserter

Place paper in the inserter (optional). Page 6-9

Press the key (reversed in the right illustration) in
the basic screen.

Press the INSERTER key.
- If the desired function keys are not displayed, press the Next
key to change the menu screen.
