Upgrading The Computer
6 - 10 Upgrading the Hard Disk Drive(s)

5. Slide the hard disk assembly forward, and remove the assembly from the
computer.
6. Remove screws & and the primary HDD insulation plate .
7. Reverse the process to install a new disk and do not forget to reinstall the
insulation plate.
8. Replace the component bay cover (see page 6 - 7).

Note that the HDD insu-
lation plates for the pri-
mary and secondary
hard disks, though simi-
lar in outward appear-
ance, are NOT
interchangeable. The
plates are clearly
marked 1ST HDD & 2nd
HDD.
Make sure you use the
appropriate insulation
plate for the HDD as the
sizes are slightly differ-
ent
